MEET OUR FOUNDER
Kobra Design was founded in 2008 by Herm Jack Ajamian, a visionary entrepreneur with almost thirty years of design experience. Twenty-two of those years have been in the restaurant design industry including being team members of their restaurant groups: Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang’s and BJ’s Restaurant. Herm is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Architectural Design. Forks up!! He is passionate about creating innovative solutions that address the needs and challenges of our customers.

Brandy J. Yamamoto | Senior Project Architect | Operations Officer
Brandy is a graduate of University of Hawaii and also boasts nearly thirty years of design experience, along with being the head of architecture in the company for over a decade. Brandy is a Registered Architect in Arizona, California and Hawaii. Brandy is a master of construction documents.
Bao Pham | Project Architect
Bao is a graduate of architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and he is a senior level project manager at KDG going back to 2019. Bao’s experience is broad both in the world of architecture being NCARB certified and a Registered Architect in California. Bao has practiced Architecture in both the US and overseas. He is not only excellent at working drawings, but also at color renders.
Sarah Ducote | Senior Project Manager
Sarah is a graduate of University of Texas and she has a degree in Architecture. Sarah has been in the profession for over fifteen years and if another one of our Senior Project Managers going back ten years. Sarah boasts experience in AutoCad, REVIT and she is also gifted at renders.
Karen Burgueño | Designer
Karen has been part of our team for three years and she is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM. Karen is incredible at design, 3D models and color renders. Karen has eight of experience working in Hospitality and commercial architecture. She is very passionate about interior design, retail design and restaurant design.
Julia Garnero | Designer
Julia studied Architecture at the National University in Córdoba, Argentina with specialized training in sustainability. A three year job captain at KDG with eight total years of work experience, Julia has been fortunate enough to work on projects in multiple countries internationally including Mexico and Argentina. Her great commitment, responsibility and passion for architecture has allowed adaption to different work groups, combining cultures and methodologies.
Eddy Estrella | Job Captain
Eddy Estrella is a skilled designer and project manager with over six years of experience, including his time at Kobra Design, where he plays a key role in various architectural projects. Eddy is proficient in BIM methodology with AutoDesk Revit, AutoCAD, along with Procore. Eddy combines his technical expertise with creative problem-solving work focused on drafting as-builts from 3D scans, developing schematic designs and advancing construction documents.
Madalyn Knutton | Interior Design
Madalyn is a recent graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in interior design. Madalyn’s background of Interiors has brought a next level tough to our projects!
Brenda Polsky | Kitchen Design
Brenda has been part of the team at Kobra Design going back over ten years. Brenda’s ability to design commercial kitchens and spec kitchen equipment is unmatchable. One other reason why we are the full service design firm.
